The Gunnison Valley Regional Housing Authority is offering a home energy efficiency program —the Gunnison Valley-Home Energy Advancement Team (GV-HEAT) — that will ensure that more households in Gunnison County are energy efficient, safe, and affordable for all members of our community.
The Housing Authority strives to provide for the long-term supply of desirable and affordable housing in the Gunnison Valley. Through GV-HEAT, the Housing Authority will connect residents and homeowners to a suite of programs aimed at helping you make your home more comfortable, safe, and efficient. This will support greater affordability and access to housing in the Gunnison Valley, while also ensuring that vulnerable residents have a safe and healthy place to reside.
GV-HEAT is the administrator in the Gunnison Valley for Energy Smart Colorado, a non-income qualified program, as well as multiple income-qualified programs, including the Colorado Affordable Residential Energy (CARE) Program, the Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) and the USDA 504 Loan and Grant Program.
